You are not average you're small. People only think skinny women look good in clothing because you only see photos of them not the real woman. In person most of these models look gaunt. Average is a size 10. Your a perfect size at a 4 to 6 I seriously doubt you could look chunky. If you think so just wear higher heels.
its the way the designers make the clothes....not you...i have pretty small breast and im skinny but still feel weird in most clothes...most clothes are designed for skinny girls with breast size B or higher
not all skinny women look good in clothes. size 4-6 is definitely not chunky. skinny women have hard times finding nice clothes because not all designers make size 00. i am a size 00 and i have to wear abercrombie all the time. its boring after a while. i would rather have some curves than be anorexic. hope that helps =]
The clothes are designed on manequins that are like double zeros. I know exactly what you mean. Also you atribute clothes fitting well on skinny women so thats what you see. You could see well fitting clothes on plus size girls, but you probally dont notice them.
there are people that starve themselves just to be near a size 4-6. you are not chunky and don't think like that.





everyone looks good in the RIGHT clothes. it is a matter of knowing how to dress one self for their body type..
That isn't that bad! Just exercise, and eat healthy! And I think models are scary skinny! Besides they wear a ton of make-up put on by professionals, have professional camera people! And usually really skinny girls don't eat much! Some people are just born skinny!
well people around the world are different and have diferent structures..for me for instance im skinny well not fat not tooo skinny but my mom does say anything i pick up does fit me.. and for my sister it not quite so skinny she is a bit chubby!

It's partially the way our society is set up. Our society illustrates the idea of having skeleton women. Don't believe me? Look up any of your favorite celebrities and you'll see what I mean. The celebrities are heroes. Heroes look thin: YOU want to look thin. Some think in our society that being over-weight is practically a sin, but it's not. Those who are anorexic are ';hot';.





Also it's the designers. Since the celebrities look hot thin: they make clothes for incredibly, unnaturally thin people. If you are average, congratulations! It's good to be normal. Your average weight is what you think it is.





Everybody thinks they are ';fat'; every once in a while, while in truth, you are not. You are just comparing yourself to those that are hot, and some of those hotties are toothpicks. Don't fall into that trend. Plus, yes, there is that one shirt that makes everybody look fat. Just don't fall into it girl. You're a pretty, smart and fun girl, and proud of it!
because there are no lumps and bumps to distract from the clothes!

You can't say every skinny women look nice in clothes because some aren't. Anyway most skinny woman are because they have good body and how they wear their clothes.
I think it depends on the clothes. I am considered skinny and I have to be very careful what style I choose so that the problem isn't accentuated. Not skinny by choice by the way, just the way I am made!
designers usually make the clothes according to a model's size. skinny women dont have access bagage. it all depends on the designer you wear some companys design their clothes for all different shapes and sizes of bodys.

dont be too hard on yourself and dont worry about those 'skinny' girls who may flaunt it in your face. most of these 'skinny', pretentious, snobby girls are the same one's who don't develop a personality and when they lose their 'looks' and their husbands/bfs cheat on them or leave them, they cry how there are no nice men out there. don't worry, i'm sure you look fine and a personality wil get you very far.

Its the way society had been conditioned by TV and movies; the ideal sexy woman must be slim and fit. Look at paintings of women 3 or more centuries ago, and you'll observe they're mostly obese. Back then, overweight women were considered desirable and sexy because they're not as likely to produce unhealthy babies, or die during childbirth. Slim women had a high rate of producing children with health problems, or die during child birth. This is why women would produce numerous children centuries ago. They expect a portion of their children to die of sickness or disease. They also believe the more children one produces, the better the chances of one child growing up to become wealthy, and that child will care for their aging mother in her last years.





Look at movies in Asia, and you'll notice most of the women are small, or flat. In their culture, they don't put much value in a woman's cleavage size like they do in the USA, UK, etc... Again, movies and TV had conditioned Asians not to put to much value on cleavage size.
i guess cuz the clothes look like they do on the mannequin. there are no fat rolls to spoil the look of the clothes. furthermore, clothes look awesome on skinny tall girls!





but u know what, i got a skinny tall friend, shes my best friend, and im a curvy short girl, but sometimes what fits me well, doesnt look good on her at ALL. and vice versa, she had a cute top, and i tried it on, and it looked so much better on me than her. she was actually JEALOUS!

i'd say that its because of, the men/women that spraybrush or edit the media, want you to think that, so they make it look cool... society is why skinny women look good in clothes, as a guy ive made a choice, that those skinny women would need several good meals before they would be attractive in my book. if you shop for clothes in the kids section and youre average height, you need a few good meals.
If you are in the USA then you're a UK 8, UK 8 is skinny, I wear 10s.





If you're in the UK a size 4 = size 0 in USA!





So you're not chunky either way. =]]
