Can anyone tell me what is a good stethoscopes to buy and some good advice when I buy one. Thank you?

I have a cheap one for our classroom (we homeschool) and it works just fine. What are you trying to do with it? We just needed a decent one to liten to the heart and for me to teach the kids about blood pressure. Here is a site where you can find lots of them:

3M Littmann. Depends on what level you are using it for - respiratory therapist, nurse, PA, physician...in general you want both the bell and diaphragm - ie the part you place on the patient's chest
