How can you get a girl without following the advice of pick up gurus like Neil Strauss?

I have read some of those seduction books, including the game, and have seen some of them do their routines and coach some guys on youtube. I simply do not want to do that stuff. I am mainly referring to what they call ';negs'; like when they tell women things like ';Your nose wiggles when you talk'; or its painful talking to them!? The way they talk and act seems almost robotic as well. It all just seems too fake and immature to me. Is there any other way to win over a woman?How can you get a girl without following the advice of pick up gurus like Neil Strauss?
Any of those things the so-called pickup gurus teach you would not work with me. I prefer guys who are sincere, and I can see an act a mile away. Just be yourself. Be nice and treat a girl with respect. If she doesn't like nice guys, forget her. You don't need that kind of girl in your life. Nice girls go for nice guys. Pay attention to what she says and likes. Try to surprise her with little things to show you remember things she said to you. It will impress her. If you promise her something, then keep your promise. Be consistent. Last if you say you're going to call, do it. It shows you're responsible and mature.How can you get a girl without following the advice of pick up gurus like Neil Strauss?
