Never send in a petition as it counts as only one objection. Always get everybody who opposes the application to write individual letters of objection. The objections must be connected to planning regulations and not just because you don't like it. Ask the planning department when it will come up before the planning committee and attend if you can, most will allow you to speak.Do you have any advice on opposing planning permission?
