It all depends on which parts she needs to take over.
With the writing, you need to have the introduction, body and conclusion. Stay on topic. Writing a lot does not guarantee a good score. If you get off topic, you score lowers.
Also there are some sites she can go to in order to practice the GED questions.

Yeah, when it comes to writing make sure she have a introduction, a body, and conclusion... The more she writes the more they love to see...
Just tell her to take her time....
